Cake Decorating: Slumber Party Cake Decorating Instructions

You will need the following to decorate your own Slumber Party Cake:

Decorations used:
2 filigree butterflies , 2 soda pop bottle picks , 2 French fries picks , 3 dolls with pony tails , 2 guitar picks , 2 notes picks , 1 Happy Birthday script

Cake Decorating Tips:
Tip sdt-104 for piping the pillow ruffle and ruffle borders
Tip sdt-21 for piping the stars
Airbrush Colors:
You could simply use colored icing or draw onto the cake if you do not have an airbrush system.
Pink for the bedspread

Colored Icing:
White frosting to ice your entire cake, for the pillow and ruffles
Yellow for the stars, the bedspread and around the bottom border

Cake Decorating Instructions & Assembly:
  • Bake and ice your favorite cake.
  • Pipe pillows on one side of the cake using white frosting.
  • Airbrush the bedspread in pink.
  • Pipe yellow stars on top of the pink bedspread.
  • Pipe ruffles around the top and bottom borders using white frosting.
  • Pipe yellow stars around the bottom border.
  • Place decorations on the cake.
